Holger, I am researching the "correct" way to handle Units and your use of QUDT in SPIN seems like a good way to go. Do you see any benefit of defining an xsd extension to an existing type (i.e. xsd:double) as shown <a hrdf="http://semanticweb.org/wiki/RDF_Schema ">here</a>?
