Hi, I get this whenever I post through gmane. This is an easy setting to change in mailman (require_explicit_destination under privacy -> recipicent) which allows mails to go through.
You still have to subscribe, so I think it's ok. A few other maillists have already disabled this (it's on by default) because it reduces the burden on moderators.
