Hey trac people, We use trac at work and one thing that would be helpful is to have a version for each component. I have seen there is a plugin "condfields" that would let me have different fields per ticket type but I need a different values per component. Is this possible in trac or is there a plugin to accomplish this?
The motivation behind this request is that we have about a dozen or so different components, and we need better visibility into which tickets were fixed in which versions of each component. I may have a component "web layer" that has a hundred tickets that have been fixed, but sometimes I need to go back and say "for version X of this component, what tickets were fixed". This is especially useful when comparing two versions to understand what changed between them. I do realize I could have one giant list of all versions of all components, but then I do not want to be able to set the version of a component to a value that doesn't apply.
