I was asked if TSLUG would possibly be interested in setting up and maintaining a Linux kiosk in Violet Hall upstairs near the two Macintosh kiosks. ITS is interested in having one up there, but they don't want to have to maintain it. They would provide the hardware, all that TSLUG would have to do is maintain the software. I am currently fuzzy on what exactly the access would be, in that it might have full Internet access, but it might only have access to the local network. Any ideas/suggestions/volunteers are welcome. Let me know what you think.
