So, it's got nothing to do with Maven. I wish I could figure out why Eclipse could complie it. BTW, the same class makes Jalopy throw up as well. I didn't realize how bad it was until I started counting, but there is an 'if' who's conditon is 146 lines long. There are 876 expressions in the condition. I can see why that might cause some problems.
