We are pleased to announce the third edition of the Mexican
International Conference on Artificial Intelligence (MICAI) 2004, which
will take place on April 26-30, in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico. MICAI is
sponsored by the Mexican Society for Artificial Intelligence (SMIA) in
cooperation with the Mexican Society for Computer Science (SMCC),
and the American Association for Artificial Intelligence (AAAI).

MICAI is an international conference whose main aim is to promote
research in AI, and cooperation among Mexican researchers and their
peers worldwide. The scientific program includes invited lectures, paper

presentations, tutorials, panels and workshops.


Paper Submission
****************

The MICAI Program Committee invites you to submit original papers to
conform the technical program of this conference. Proceedings will be
published by Springer-Verlag in their Lecture Notes in Artificial
Intelligence series, as were MICAI“00 (LNAI 1793) and MICAI“02 (LNAI
2313).

MICAI-2004 requires electronic submission of papers and abstracts
according to instructions posted at the conference home page. Authors
are required to submit a title and a short abstract a week before the
paper submission deadline. All papers MUST be written in English and
have a maximum of 10 pages and be submitted for evaluation as a PDF or
PostScript file following the instructions from LNCS series,
        http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/instruct/typeinst.pdf

All submissions will be subject to blind peer review for accuracy
and originality of ideas, clarity and significance of results and
quality of the presentation by three program committee members. The
decision of the program committee will be final and cannot be
appealed.

Monday November 17, 2003, 23:59: deadline for author notification.
Monday December 8, 2003, 23:59, deadline for camera ready copy of
