-- Which OS should I distribute? Ubuntu or Mint? Why? Well, it depends entirely on user's choice. The main differences between Ubuntu and Mint are:
(1) Mint has some built-in codecs and simple compiz; where in Ubuntu, the user has to download the codecs from Internet (unless you can provide them offline installer). Mint has a plus point here (2) the default look of Ubuntu is superior to default look of Mint (my opinion). My suggestion is to distribute both of them. Explain the differences to the audience and let them choose what they really need. If possible then display some screenshots (if you manage two computers to demonstrate both of them side by side it would be better) . -- What additional materials can add value?
