fwiw, same problem here (ff 3.0.3+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.1) in hardy with bloomberg.com. It's very strange, because I was viewing bloomberg and when it went through it's normal refresh, it came back with that error message.
So, I switched over to konqueror, which renders it fine. It's obviously not reproducible, since it only happens intermittently. But, this reply can at least let others know it's still happening on the current ff. Using just the standard stuff: flashplugin-nonfree 10.0.1.218+10.0.0.525ubuntu1~hardy1+really9.0.124.0ubuntu2 adblock-plus 0.7.5.4-0ubuntu1 useragentswitcher 0.6.11-0ubuntu1 (set at Default) -- content encoding error on Firefox 3 on Hardy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/246796 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
