I understand, the bug is easily reproducible, I ran the installation a number of times and the same message occurred. I'm at a loss on how to get back to the main menu. Whatever I press after the error message is posted, results in a loop back to the same message. Maybe there is a way by changing console to get the logs you request, but I'm afraid I would need guidance to do it. My general Linux and CLI skills are basic at best (but not hopeless;). It may be of interest that everything ran perfectly when I swapped the IDE drive with a SATA optical drive. This probably isn't the most important bug, as few systems with that recent chipset will sport an older IDE optical drive. If you wish to look at the logs you requested, feel free to throw me a bone on how to get at them. I will be happy to oblige if you think it's worth it.
