Good news and bad news: * I tried the gfortran from gcc-snapshot, and that worked. No NaNs. * I then updated with the hardy-proposed updates (using the instructions at http://blog.omma.net/?p=11), and used the updated gfortran to compile ABINIT. Now I had NaNs. :(
