It seems that Bård's patch was committed to the KDE SVN repository, but nevertheless, the version in SVN still doesn't work. On the bright side, they're apparently working on a version 0.7. Unfortunately, I don't see the pptp plugin in the repo.
I followed the instructions on building it from source from here: http://en.opensuse.org/Projects/KNetworkManager#Source I had to install the following packages: autoconf1.9 automake **NOTE: you MUST use automake1.9, not just automake which I believe is 1.10** libhal-dev libnm-util-dev libnl-dev libdbus-qt-1-dev network-manager-dev libiw-dev So, after failing to get it working straight from svn, I followed Bård's instructions, and things worked perfectly. I also had to install the following packages: cdbs libtool networkstatus-dev Thank you very much Bård! -- dependency problem on Kubuntu https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/123696 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
