Hi, a temporary solution for my problem is to force AGP 1x mode because that prevents it from freezing. With Windows XP, it runs fine on AGP 4x even with fastwrite enabled. I discribed it here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-ati/+bug/195051
