I was running the latest flash 10 plugin when this happened. I tried downgrading to flash 9 by downloading the obsolete flash plugins from a macromedia technote. I can se in the flash context menu that the downgrade succeeded.
I also had flash 9 on the ubuntu 8.04 on the same hardware, and never got a crash. I was not running x64 kernel but the generic one, back then. Funny thing, one day it was working for a whole hour, and I think it was related to the SOUND which was NOT working at the time. I may try to reproduce if that would be helpful. Currently I can provoke crashes of the flash plugin every 5 minutes, at least. ** Visibility changed to: Public -- npviewer.bin crashed with SIGSEGV while showing www.epn.dk https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/284847 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
