This would mean that after installing Compiz, you would not get an extra item in System > Preferences, and instead you would have an extra tab in your Appearance preferences. The appearance preferences panel would act as the settings manager. You can most likely submit this as a feature request but it is really up to the developers to put it on a feature request wishlist or not. Either way, this is technically not a bug. OK, so to be less technical and help usability of this feature let's see what you are proposing here. I have created a mock up image of what you are suggesting. Can you confirm this is how you would like it to look?
