Can confirm. 8.10 with all updates. Have normal volume in back jack. But very low on front jack. I get a sound on a front jack only after enabling microphone and microphone boost and putting them on maximum. Without that can't hear a sound on the front. Very strange behavior.
On the same computer was no problem with 8.04.
