I'm having the same symptoms as the original reporter, except it worked
for me in Hardy, and doesn't in Intrepid.
In Hardy, if my wireless connection dropped, it would eventually
reconnect.
After upgrading to Intrepid, when my wireless connection drops, it acts
like it is attempting to reconnect, but it *always* eventually fails,
and presents the password dialog (but clicking okay on the password
dialog doesn't work). If I reselect the wireless network from network-
manager applet menu, it connects just fine. If I reselect the network
*while* it is attempting (and failing) to automatically reconnect, it
will restart the animation and generally connects just fine.
Unfortunately, the wireless router at my office very regularly drops
everyone, so I get to experience this several times per day. ;-)
On a whim, I deleted all of the wireless passwords (using seahorse) and
all of the wireless connections ("Edit Connections..."), and then
reconnected... but that didn't solve anything.
