I have the same problem with clean install of Ubuntu 8.10 using an Insignia BT headset and PulseAudio on a Dell Vostro 1500. I accidently unplugged the power cord and PA crashed. gnome-power-manager froze (I had to kill it manually, too). I don't know how to do a stack trace or any of the apport stuff, sorry... I just wanted to say that I was able to recreate this issue (albeit by accident).
