i dont see anything wrong with that:
// for "Connection Information"
image = gtk_image_new_from_stock (GTK_STOCK_INFO, GTK_ICON_SIZE_MENU);
// for "About"
image = gtk_image_new_from_stock (GTK_STOCK_ABOUT, GTK_ICON_SIZE_MENU);
so it uses the appropriate stock icons; if you see an issue here its a
issue of the theme not NM.
