Yes, I can confirm this on Edgy. It's really a problem in the use of
Gnome widgets, instant apply and HIG. Typing something into the hour box
does not change it until you exit that box, and Close works as a cancel
where that change is not applied (but previous ones are I guess).
Perhaps the answer is to replace the Close button with an OK button
(which saves) and a Cancel button that reverts everything?
