I just expect that the needed packages are all in the same repository.
But that's not really anything I can influence. I'm changing the
description to something more useful.

** Summary changed:

- Error writing to KINO/MJPEG audio filter - aborting
+ Vague error: "Error writing to KINO/MJPEG audio filter - aborting"

** Description changed:

- Binary package hint: kino
-
  Ubuntu 7.04
  Kernel 2.6.20-2
  Kino 0.9.2

All suggested and required packages installed without any errors.

While this is also happening on my real files, here is how I reproduce
  it:

In a new (NTFC or whatever it's called) project create 25 frames of
plain black. If I now try to export this a plain mpeg1 file (the first
option on the drop down menu in the mpeg section of 'Export') I get the
error "Error writing to KINO/JMPEG audio filter - aborting.

- I found some old references to this which suggested installing
- mjpegtools, but that's not in the default repositories, if it's
- anywhere, I didn't hunt for it.
+ It would be more helpful if the error suggested a solution, or checked
+ for the presence of mjpegtools.
