This addition to /etc/dbus-1/system.d/nm-pptp-service.conf
<policy group="dialout">
<allow own="org.freedesktop.NetworkManager.pptp"/>
<allow send_destination="org.freedesktop.NetworkManager.pptp"/>
<allow own="org.freedesktop.NetworkManager.pptp-ppp"/>
<allow
send_destination="org.freedesktop.NetworkManager.pptp-ppp"/>
</policy>
solved the problem for me with GSM.
Have now to check behaviour of gnome-screensaver which I have to
manually kill....
