Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: uqm

After a short while when running uqm I get this in kern.log:
Mar 6 23:24:08 joe kernel: [ 296.436510] Bad page state in process 'uqm'

and the system dies with blinking CAPS & SCROLL Lock LEDs...

I'm afraid I don't have much more info...

Running:
Ubuntu 8.04.2 (just updated via aptitude)
uqm 0.6.2.dfsg-5ubuntu1
nvidia binary drivers

Hardware should be OK, as everything else including MS Windows and
Memtest works fine.

It's reproducible as it crashes every time I try to start it, even in a
bare "xinit" session without a windowmanager
