Public bug reported: Binary package hint: uqm
After a short while when running uqm I get this in kern.log: Mar 6 23:24:08 joe kernel: [ 296.436510] Bad page state in process 'uqm' and the system dies with blinking CAPS & SCROLL Lock LEDs... I'm afraid I don't have much more info... Running: Ubuntu 8.04.2 (just updated via aptitude) uqm 0.6.2.dfsg-5ubuntu1 nvidia binary drivers Hardware should be OK, as everything else including MS Windows and Memtest works fine. It's reproducible as it crashes every time I try to start it, even in a bare "xinit" session without a windowmanager ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Fri Mar 6 23:36:33 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 8.04 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: uqm 0.6.2.dfsg-5ubuntu1 PackageArchitecture: i386 ProcEnviron: SHELL=/bin/bash PATH=/home/username/bin:/home/username/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games:/home/username/bin:/home/username/bin LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SourcePackage: uqm Uname: Linux 2.6.24-23-generic i686 ** Affects: linux Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: uqm (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug -- Kernel crash after a short while: "Bad page state" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/338981 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
