*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 75681 *** removing ## kopt_2_6_8=root=/dev/hdc1 ro ## kopt_2_6_8_2_686=root=/dev/hdc2 ro from /boot/grub/menu.lst works for kernel 2.6.20-2-generic here but doesnt affect 2.6.20-3-generic at all it still doesnt boot. I am assuming it worked with 2.6.20-2 as i booted 2 times in a row with it and that hasnt happened since 2.6.19 but i will work with it a bit more to hopfully understand why its not helping -3 kernel. I dont want to mark this a dup yet until i find out if it helped at all or just got lucky.
