Public bug reported:

In Intrepid Ibex for AMD64 I get very erratic network performance with
the ADSL connection. Very similar to the problems reported in bug
#287416 with kernel image 2.6.27.14 and 2.6.27.11. I am also using a
Sagem modem/router. It doesn't matter if the connection to the router is
made via ethernet or through USB.

Using kernel 2.6.24.23 from Hardy the problem dissapears. The
performance is worse with 2.6.27.14 than with 2.6.27.11.
