Thanks for reporting this issue. There are a number of steps needed to
shutdown from the GUI if I am also logged in to a TTY console.
1. Select "Quit" button
2. Select "Shutdown"
1. On the error message is a "Quit" button, that I must hit.
2. The gdm login screen comes up, so I am now logged out of the desktop.
3. Hit "Shutdown" on the GDM screen
4. Verify that I do want to shutdown.
I am confirming this bug. There should be enough information for the
developers to begin work to resolve it.
Thanks again for helping improve Xubuntu.
