update... 1. i restarted windows and then inserted the 9.04 CD. 2. the message is now "Exception Processing Message c0000013 Parameters 75b6bf7c 4 75b6bf7c 75b6bf7c" 3. clicking "cancel" or the "X" on the error message 8 times gets me to the installation options dialog.
