Public bug reported:

This is a really messy showstopper, sittin here with broken grub and
initrd without chance to repair this.

Please try to mount a existing jfs partition with a live cd, tested with
8.04, 8.10, 9.04

ubu...@ubuntu:/mnt$ sudo mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/ziel
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sda1,
missing codepage or helper program, or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
       dmesg | tail or so

ubu...@ubuntu:/mnt$ sudo mount -t jfs /dev/sda1 /mnt/ziel
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sda1,
missing codepage or helper program, or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
       dmesg | tail or so

But the jfs module is already started by the live cd.

ubu...@ubuntu:/mnt$ lsmod

That must be fixed urgent, now i have to use the windows way. Format all
and reinstall the whole system......
