Public bug reported: I have a Canon Powershot G3. When I connect it via USB Ubuntu 9.04 recognizes it perfectly as "Canon, Inc. PowerShot G3 (normal mode)". But when I click on the camera icon an error appears saying that it can't show the content of the folder. Can't retreive folder list and -111 invalid filename.
I tried different CF-cards and formated them but nothing worked. I can access the pictures through f-spot but can't copy them to my harddrive. Other users in the german ubuntu forum who have the same camera are reporting the same bug. It worked perfectly fine in Ubuntu 8.10. USB card readers also work fine only the direct access to the camera is not possible. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- can't get access to Canon Powershot G3 via USB https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/368403 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
