Public bug reported:

Hi,

I'd like to thank everyone for Ubuntu, I really wish to be able to use it some
day, cause I'm sick of restricted Windows.
So here I am reporting a few issues with my laptop that prevented me from using
Ubuntu 9.04 64-bit.
I installed using a burnt ISO, and then Wubi in install inside Windows Vista
64-bit.

I will be happy both to be able to resolve these issues for myself now
and to help them be fixed in the next "out of the box" release (9.10).

1) Internet connection is choppy with my WPA Edimax router. Gets disconnected
every few minutes and then back up again. This is an improvement from 8.10 that
didn't connect at all.
2) Unable to activate my ATI restricted driver. Gets stuck on "Downloading
driver" and after a few minutes something about "jaunty-gtk has crashed".
3) This is not really a bug, but since I keep switching from using my laptop
display and my desktop monitor, having to log off everytime I switch (using the
new display options) is a real nuisance.

If there's a way I can provide debugging logs please tell me.
