Please forgive my noise, I hope it is helping. The complaint in my .xsession-errors about line 59:
/etc/xdg/xfce4/xinitrc: 59: source: not found Line 59 is the fi at end of the if block. But the file exists, I can cat it out from xinitrc This is the only 'source' command in the xinitrc file. Interestingly "shopt" is also not found... Okay, /bin/sh points at dash, not bash changing "source" to "." on line 59 fixes the fact that apparently "dash" does not contain "source" ?!? That seems whacky, but there it is. Has not fixed blue screen problem yet, contuining .... -- After installing, there is no desktop.
