I can confirm that this is fixed in my Dell Inspiron 6400. But a new problem is introduced: when pressing Ctrl+Fn Down immediately after Ctrl+Fn Up (or vise versa), the brightness continues to go up, as if it has an inertia. Of course, this may be a bug with Jaunty's new notification system.
