i installed mainline kernel image 2.6.29-02062902
(http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v2.6.29.2/linux-
image-2.6.29-02062902-generic_2.6.29-02062902_amd64.deb), which fixes
the problem!
