The above version downloaded from Open Office website does solve this issue. Are there any plans to include OOO3.1 in Jaunty (Either through PPA/Backport or otherwise) or is that a case of wait for Karamic? The current version in the PPA won't upgrade (I have yet to report this as a separate bug just incase it's awaiting an update from (say) RC2. )
