Okay I see. The problem is I have no "standard" laptop but one assembled, based on a barebone and customized. The barebone I have is of course no longer available and I don't have any clue on what it is except the informations given by lspci et al. If useful, the company that sold me the laptop is called Transtec, based in Germany. May a special BIOS or customization from them alter something and lead to this problem??? I don't think so.
