Hi John, Thanks for your answer ! I was celebrating too soon... Just recovered from another crash without going into suspend mode. Very annoying since this is my work machine. by switching to ahci, you probably mean switching in the bios ? Currently I have no rights doing so, but I think I have a good reason for the switch.
