Problem just occured again with a Laserjet 1320, lpstat -v device for hp-LaserJet-1320-series: hp:/usb/hp_LaserJet_1320_series?serial=00CNM1G08790 device for hp-LaserJet-1320-series2: usb://HP/LaserJet%201320%20series
Is it possible that the autoconfiguration of jaunty does not recognize existing configurations made with intrepid? I did not experience that problem with my Laserjet 1300 again since I completely removed and reconfigured it. In contrast, the 1320 was not connected since I've upgraded to jaunty, so its device entry was still made by intrepid.
