Follow on from atany: I also have a Dell M1330 running Jaunty. In addition to atany's findings, I have found that after a suspend/resume or removal of AC power, I can change the frequencies if the power is disconnected. On reconnecting AC power the frequencies revert to 800MHz and I am unable to change them.
