Problem. Apport doesn't seem to register the crash at all, but it is indeed now predictable. My system works (more or less) fine until I run konsole. After that, at some point (a few moments into my session)... if I hit the enter key, then BANG! Everything goes hay wire. Basically, it caused the gdm to crash, and restarts the x session. Once the x-session is restarted, nothing really works properly any longer until I reboot. Most noticeably, the windows decoration is gone (Compiz with emerald).
NOTE: Above, I say 'more or less' as there are several things not working now that were working with jaunty: -no brightness control -gdmsetup missing -no full screen video All above were fine in jaunty. What's the best way to deal with these? Report bugs, or post on the forums?
