OK, now I did this: - insert the Win7 DVD - open its icon that appeared on desktop - check that window shows correct content - close window - check with 'df' in terminal that DVD is still mounted - start : brasero --brasero-media-debug --debug &> brasero-debug_try4.txt - in brasero click Butn Image - in dialog select source file : karmic-desktop-i386.iso - check in options that eject is not selected - burn - when finished, close burn dialog and close brasero - in system menu Places click "UDF Volume" (the remnant of the previous DVD content) - two error dialogs appear:
Cannot mount volume. Unable to mount the volume 'UDF Volume'.
