Just last night I updated to the latest kernel. Before that my laptop was
overheating at 180F! Before the second to last update it was at 120-150F(CPU).
It must have killed my battery in the process too, it does not power on from
the battery. I pull the power cord and the laptop
shuts down, this started 1 week ago. Heat just killed it. Who is liable for
this? I cannot afford a new laptop.

Running latest Ubuntu.
Laptop: HP 4025US
