Actually, it is very confusing. First, use has to go to "Tools"-"Add-Ons"-"Plugins" and enable all available plugins (gnash/swfdec/adobe), then, in "Tool"-"Manage Content Plug-ins" user can actually choose which plugin to use.
This can lead to a very bad situation. User can have one plugin (for example, swfdec) enabled in "Add-Ons" and another plugin (for example, gnash) in "Content Plugins". That way user gets nothing at all! Why is that double-configuration needed at all??? BTW, enabling swfdec in both places gives me at least sound - but no video. Just grey rectangle with circle+triangle inside, that's it. Everything is fine with gnash, as I said. -- Do not play videos https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/397805 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
