OK chap's, I got it finally !!!

if, like me, you have a bunch of "picasa" occurrences in the source code
=> choose the line which begins with "_album.picasa"

If, like me, your source code does not show any "picasa://", but instead some 
"picasa:\x2F\x2F"
=> copy "picasa:\x2F\x2F..." till the end of the line in your text editor, and 
replace all occurrences of "\x2F" by "/"

then type in the Konsole:
/usr/bin/picasa picasa://...
=> if, like me, you have some luck, it works !!
