Also, I suspect my problem is not alsa related; I was able to get my sound to work in Karmic by changing Sound-Preferences->Output->Connector to "Analog Headphones" (from Analog output) - giving me sound in both the speakers and headphones. If I should file a new report, which package should I be filing with? Should I change this bug back to fix committed?
