I don't have a problem with that, although it will be interesting to see how much traction you get from the various messaging apps, not all of which are written specifically for Ubuntu. > The envelope icon is widely used as a proxy for "you have a message from a human being" Aha! And this is the nature of the bug as I see it. I do not HAVE a message of any kind, but I still have the e-mail icon.
