Hello Lean First I tried it with the CD Image karmic 9.10 with the same problems as reported with ubuntu 9.04. After this I installed karmic on my hard drive and updated it, which didn't change the problem. Then I tried the MainlineBuild vmlinuz-2.6.31-020631rc6-generic (amd 64) which didn't chage the problem. My laptop seems to suspend with the power-button blinking. When I try to resume there seems to be some disk activity but it ends with a black screen. With 9.04 it also suspended. On trying to resume there are vertical colored lines appearing on my screen which never lead to a new login. The problem appears each time I try to suspend also with older versions of ubuntu 8.10. Is there any more specific information I can send you to fix this problem?
