And it reads: "I have anti-aliasing turned off [...]. Firefox 3.0 did respect these settings, but after upgrading to Firefox 3.5 all fonts are anti-aliased [...]" (edited for a better clarity) Upstream, pango or Cairo bug, I can't tell by reading their comments. But it's a good start.
