Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: pulseaudio

audio skips and crackles for about 5 seconds and then cuts out entirly
when playing games such as Warzon2100, Sauerbran, and Nexuiz. The games
will not close after the audio stops. The sound works again after I run
pulseaudio --kill, but will cut out randomly if i change ALSA volume, or
another sound plays. I have noticed that changing the audio setting in
the games to a lower refesh rate and with a huge buffer will cause the
sound to work consistantly, just with a huge delay. This just happened
with one of the recent updates.
