If reinstalling HPLIP works then it's not an issue with HPLIP but could be an issue with the upgrade path. Till--any comments?
This wouldn't be an issue with HPLIP, per se, but with how Ubuntu does the upgrade. Someone from Ubuntu may have some other comments, but as of right now I wouldn't consider this an issue with HPLIP.
