Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

just happened since upgrade to 9.10
Opening old file, opening new file all result in the same lock up.
using other tools in the tool bar or other commands from the drop menus do not
cause problem.
At least so far as I have seen.
keyboard command (ctrl s) drop menu, toolbar shortcut all result in lockup
lockup characterized by : extended pause without activity, greying of window,
inability to use anything from menus or toolbars. Finally closing with right
click window bar/close> popup that mentions that the program is not responding
and a force quit to close it.
reopening bumps into recovery mode, but the recovered window appears slightly
(5cm) lower than usual on the screen. Clicking to keying in save starts the
lockup immediately.

saving is not accomplished.
so, I expect it to save, it locks up.
