Public bug reported: Sound disappear after a minute or so on the SecondLife client. Worked perfect on Jaunty (9.04).
Made fresh Karmic (9.10) installation and then downloaded the SecondLife client at: http://download.cloud.secondlife.com/SecondLife-i686-1.23.5.136262.tar.bz2 In the beginning, everything works well. Then the sound starts to sound distorted and finally disappear. I did not have any problems like this on Jaunty. (Also... Exit the SecondLife client will cause the client window to hang. Didn't have any problems with this on Jaunty as well. I'll file this as another bug.)
